Daily Post 2: New Developments!

Yesterday after a profuse amount of research, we discovered that there was no obvious solution to finding our UV light fixture. Due to the nature of the solar panel we've acquired, the UV lamp must be compatible with a DC current. However, it seems we have found a solution to our problem!

We've discovered the possibility of jerry-rigging an inverter used by cars to transform the DC current (outputted by the cigarette lighter) into an AC current (where standard appliances may be plugged into). We will cut off the cigarette lighter portion of the inverter and splice the wires so that they may be connected to our solar charge controller. From there, we only need to find any AC lamp capable of running the UV light bulb at our desired wattage!

Below are links to the potential inverter as well as the solar charge controller we have decided to order.
